Project Overview
Project in Singapore AbbVie’s Singapore manufacturing facility expansion represents a strategic US$223 million investment aimed at significantly increasing biologics production capacity to support growing immunology and oncology demand. As AbbVie’s sole manufacturing site in Asia, the project plays a critical role in the company’s global supply chain, adding 24,000 liters of drug-substance capacity. The expansion demands highly coordinated architectural, structural, and complex MEP/process systems within sterile environments, where BIM enables precise modeling, clash-free coordination, and future-ready asset integration. By supporting rapid manufacturing changeovers in days rather than months, BIM-driven workflows contribute directly to enhanced operational efficiency and long-term facility performance.
